Deathbed Regrets
Bronnie Ware spent years as a palliative care nurse, sitting with people in the last weeks of their lives. She wrote down what they regretted most in her book "The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying".
Nobody said they wished they'd worked more.
The most common regret (across hundreds of people, from all walks of life) was more impactful than that:
“I wish I’d had the courage to live the life I wanted, not the one that was expected of me.”
That regret isn't only about courage though. It's also about time. Specifically, who controls it.
Most people trade 40+ hours a week to fund a life they only get to really live on weekends. They're working for eventual freedom; someday, at 65, once the kids are through college, once the mortgage is paid. The problem is that someday isn't guaranteed. And by the time it arrives, the energy for the life you dreamed about may not be either.
Real estate investing isn't just a wealth strategy. It's a time strategy.
When your properties generate enough cash flow to cover your life, you can stop selling your hours. You get to decide what Tuesday morning looks like. And Wednesday. And every day after that.
It may look like keeping your job, or retiring early, or starting a business, or quitting your 9-5 to write your novel.
That's what financial freedom actually is. Not a number in an account. The ability to choose. Commercial real estate is the fastest path most everyday investors have to that reality.
Driven Life Academy shows you how to build toward that. One property at a time.
The best years of your life are happening right now. It is time you owned them.
